There was an international tournament, I think it was in 2014, with several irregularities. I am only going to talk about how Steve was demonized, and how this caused him to leave.

To the best of my knowledge, this was the situation:
1. Steve was the arbiter for the day when the game was supposed to be played.
2. Steve received an email from Marcus saying the players had already agreed to a draw. Of course this was key evidence in FIDE's decision.
3. While some contend that the game had actually been played on another day, there is no evidence that that was so, and even if it was, the game would still have to be disallowed because FIDE does not permit three games to be played in a day in a norm tournament.

I would prefer if Steve stayed and the unethical people would leave. What about you?
